Start your journey from Kampala and head north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Enjoy a guided walk to track rhino families in their natural environment. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park for an evening game drive where you’ll spot lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, hyenas, and buffaloes. Relax at your lodge with a campfire and dinner.
Rise early for a morning game drive with packed breakfast, exploring the park’s vast plains. Return for a short rest before hiking to the top of the powerful Murchison Falls for amazing views. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise on the Nile River, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and various water birds. End the day with dinner and relaxation at your lodge.
After breakfast, drive southwest to Fort Portal, famously known as the “Switzerland of Africa.” Check into your hotel, enjoy lunch and swimming, then take a short hike to the city viewpoint for a beautiful sunset view over crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains.
Drive to Semuliki National Park for a guided walk to the hot springs, which naturally boil at 100°C. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Rwenzori Mountains. Return for lunch, then visit crater lakes and waterfalls near Fort Portal. You may swim or enjoy a relaxed walk through local communities before returning to your hotel.
Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a land of savannah woodlands and over 1,000 bird species. Take an evening game drive through the park, spotting animals like elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes. Enjoy a peaceful night at your lodge with a campfire under the stars.
After an early breakfast, go for a game drive to spot lions, leopards, and other wildlife. Return for lunch and later take a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to see hippos, crocodiles, and numerous birds. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Drive southwest, stopping to view volcanic sites and twin lakes. Visit the Kyambura Gorge or Kalinzu forest for chimpanzee trekking before heading to Bwindi National Park, home of the mountain gorillas. Spend the evening relaxing around a campfire.
After breakfast, go for the once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking adventure. You’ll hike through dense forest to find gorilla families, observing them up close in their natural habitat. Later, drive to Kabale and check in at a beautiful lodge by Lake Bunyonyi for rest and campfire.
Enjoy a morning breakfast with a lake view, followed by a boat tour to visit historical islands, home to unique stories and wildlife. You can also hike to a viewpoint overlooking Rwanda and Uganda’s volcanic peaks. Spend the evening swimming or relaxing by the lake.
Drive to Lake Mburo National Park, home to zebras, impalas, and giraffes. After checking in, go for an evening game drive through the park and enjoy a quiet night surrounded by nature.
After breakfast, take a guided cycling tour through the park, getting close to animals in a unique way. Later, drive towards Kampala, stopping at the Equator for photos, lunch, and water experiments before continuing to your hotel in Kampala.
Explore local life through a Mukono city tour, visiting local markets, craft shops, and community centers. Experience the real Ugandan lifestyle and end your day relaxing by the poolside.
Drive east to Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda. Visit Lake Victoria and the Source of the Nile, take a boat ride, and tour the beautiful town of Jinja before returning to your hotel for dinner.
Drive through the lush Mabira Forest as you return to Kampala or Entebbe, marking the end of your wonderful 14-day Uganda Grand Safari.
