This safari will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Our tour guide will pick you up from your location in Kampala or Entebbe and begin the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive takes approximately 8-10 hours but offers scenic views of Uganda’s beautiful countryside, rolling hills, and lush landscapes.
We will make a stop at the equator for a quick photo opportunity and a lunch break.
Continue the drive to Bwindi, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening. You will check in to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Accommodation: Mid-range or luxury lodge, depending on your preference.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority guides on safety and trekking rules.
You will then start your trek into the dense forest in search of a gorilla family. The trek can take between 2 to 8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location.
Once you find the gorillas, you will have one magical hour to observe them as they feed, play, and interact with each other.
After the trek, you will return to the lodge for a late lunch and some relaxation.
In the evening, enjoy a cultural visit to the Batwa community, where you will learn about their ancient lifestyle and traditions.

Day 3: Return to Kampala/Entebbe

Day 3: Return to Kampala/Entebbe

After breakfast, you will check out and start your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.
We will stop for lunch en route and continue the drive, arriving in the afternoon or evening.
Our guide will drop you off at your desired location, marking the end of your Gorilla Trekking Adventure.
