Day 1: Kampala – Fort Portal – Queen Elizabeth National Park
We start our journey early morning from Mama Roise’s house, driving through Kampala City towards western Uganda. Along the way, we make stopovers for photos at iconic viewpoints and enjoy breakfast in Mubende Town. Upon reaching Fort Portal, we visit the crater lakes for short walks and swimming, spotting monkeys and enjoying nature. After lunch at a scenic restaurant overlooking a crater lake, we continue to Kasese and drive into Queen Elizabeth National Park for check-in, relaxation, and dinner at our lodge.
Day 2: Game Drive & Boat Cruise – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early to the sounds of the wild and set off for a morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Expect to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, hyenas, and several antelope species. After 4–6 hours of adventure, we return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, we go for an epic boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Watch crocodiles, hippos, and different bird species, along with other animals cooling off at the water’s edge. End the day enjoying the sunset and peaceful wildlife views from your lodge.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth – Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast in the wild, we visit the twin lakes and other nearby salt lakes before heading south towards Lake Mburo National Park. We’ll stop for lunch in Mbarara Town and continue with an evening game drive upon arrival. Expect to see zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelope species unique to this park. Later, we check into our lodge for dinner and overnight stay surrounded by nature.
Day 4: Lake Mburo – Equator – Kampala
After an early breakfast by the lake, we enjoy a short morning game drive through the park, then head towards Masaka. We stop at the Uganda Equator for photos, souvenirs, and lunch before continuing to Kampala. The trip ends with great memories and beautiful views of the city’s cultural and historical landmarks.
